II. Demobilization A) Cost of Living Increases Food no longer rationed for War Boom in spending → Product Shortages → Prices go up Wages did not increase enough B) Example: During WW1 - Told not to eat Grain, save for soldiers abroad 1919 Post WW1 - Everyone buys bread after years of rationing Not enough Bread → Bread worth more → Cant afford bread. Outrage.
