Course Equivalencies: Articulations between colleges on how courses will transfer The Equivalencies database lists how college courses will transfer Courses not listed are considered NON-ARTICULATED but, they can still be reviewed by faculty and advisors to see if they can be used in a major, minor, or GE. Find Non-Articulated Courses in the last section of the progress report titled: Accepted Credits that do not currently fulfill GE and/or Major requirements

Sort by College, AP or IB courses

Shows how articulated courses transfer Dutchess CC Example of a Dutchess to New Paltz equivalent course BHS206 = ANT 214 and counts for WORLD GE BHS220 = SOC 001 Could be used as a Sociology major / minor lower division elective counts for SSCI GE Example of a course that is not an equivalent to a NP course

Courses accepted count toward 120 credits as electives, upper or lower division, and liberal arts CHE222 currently listed as CHE000 Chemistry Elective Could be accepted as New Paltz GEN CHEM 2 Faculty Review can bring the course into the major Chemistry major Petition non-articulated courses to count in major or minor with faculty advisors and GE through Academic Advising Center.
