Procedure of drawal of T.A.Bills 1.For performing T.A.,a Govt. employee is eligible to re-imbursement of conveyance charge and daily allowances in terms of Rule 57 of WBSR Part I 2.Each employee shall have to draw TA/DA in terms of order No.4730-F dt.25.05.1999 which was issued on the basis of revised pay of ROPA 1998.
Admissibilty of Travelling Allowances 1.Journey shall be made in the interest of Public service 2.The Controlling authority either issue order or sign advance tour programme directing the employee concerned to perform tours as per approved tour programme.
Drawal of daily allowances I. Subject to the existing provisions in rule 57 of the West Bengal Service Rules, Part-II and in supersession of Finance Department Memo No. 5299-F, dt. 1.6.90, the rates of Daily Allowance are revised as follows
When the Government employee stays in Government / Public Sector Guest Houses, Dak Bunglows or make his own arrangements: Pay Range Ordinary Localities Kolkata, Darjeeling District (except Siliguri Sub-division) Rs.16,400 and above Rs.135/- Rs.260 Rs.8000 and above,but less than Rs.16,400 Rs.120/- Rs.230/-

Travelling allowances for Government employees on retirement:Rule 132 of WBSR Part II (Rule 9 of G.O.No.4730-F dt.25.5.1999)
Certain categories of employees are permitted to draw transfer TA for transporting personal effects to the residence from place of duty. (I).Travelling allowance for temporary transfer: 1.Transfer short period not exceeding 180 days 2.Eligible for travelling allowance & daily allowance 3.No advance of pay will be allowed 4.No joining time shall be admissible for temporary transfer
