Adaptive energy-saving system "AESS" INNOTREK INNOVATION TECHNOLOGIES Adaptive energy-saving system "AESS" *In the framework of the Federal law of the Russian Federation 261-ФЗ "On energy saving and enhancing energy efficiency"

About the Company INNOTREK Russian developer and manufacturer of adaptive energy-saving system- "AESS" Founded in 2014 Part of Vince Group The core of our team is formed by leading Russian scientists as well as young and ambitious graduates of subject matter universities. During the existence of our company, tens of successful tests of AESS were done on different objects, efficiency of the equipment and announced performance of electric energy quality improvements were confirmed.

. Our equipment

AESS provides 6 functions in a single unit: WHAT IT DOES AESS provides 6 functions in a single unit: - compensation of reactive power; - high harmonics filtration; - making feeding phrases loading in the grid symmetrical; - limiting over-voltages; - compensation of short duration voltage drops; lightning-protection. AESS allows: - to make maximum reduction of typical negative phenomena in electric grid; - to provide saving of payments for electric energy by up to 30%; - to reduce the electric grid load by up to 30%; - to stabilize electric grid that positively influences an equipment operation; - to increase equipment useful service life and to reduce planned maintenance cost.

Main Data - It is installed on the lower side (380 V) after an electric energy metering device parallel to a load, does not brake the network and does not interrupt a production process; - Payback period, depending on an object, usually does not exceed 2 years; - Warranty is 3 years; - Useful service life is >10 years; - In the process of operation AESS does not require a special maintenance; - Protection system from turning on during peak periods in implemented, correspondingly, there is no need of continuous replacement of capacitors.

External appearance, dimensions and modular approach AESS is usually installed in typical electric cabinets with dimensions 950х600х280 mm. The weight of one AESS module in this variant is not more than 50 kg. On customer request, there is a possibility of AESS integration into existing cells at substation. AESS is made using modular approach: each unit in typical electric cabinet is one module and has power 48 kVAr depending on reactive energy at the output. Head module has so called "brain" - control system. If needed, AESS power may be increased by serial connection of additional modules to the head one. One head module supports a whole system power up to 1,024 kVAr which actually means there are no limitations on loads. The modular approach allows to install AESS on object of different configurations depending on a customer wishes and availability of spare space. Additional AESS modules may be added as needed, keeping previous investments intact.

Internal structure The head module of the system with integrated electric grid quality analyzer «Omix» with control system and uninterrupted power supply is presented.

Wireless data transmission system could be installed into AESS This system allows to carry on complete remote administering of AESS, in particular: Monitoring of all electric grid parameters at a place of the system installation, such as: active power, reactive power, power coefficient, acting values of current and voltage, metering of used electric energy, etc. Wireless AESS information transmission system The system operation algorithm could be changed remotely using serial programming functions. The system remote turning on and switching off. If needed, the system could be linked with data transmission channel of mobile radio communication systems using the most modern communication protocols.

AESS testing For determining electric energy savings, measurements were done at time intervals of equal duration with AESS turned on and off: For the estimation, average parameters values were used. The average values of currents and consumed power are listed in Tables 1,2 Table 1. AESS testing Electric energy saving in KTP-1 T-1 is determined as difference in average weighted values with AESS on and off it is ~12.5% for (NM) operation and ~18.5% for (AM) operation, correspondingly The measurements were done jointly with customer specialists. Conclusion: conducted tests had shown AESS operation efficiency. Use of AESS allowed: •to reduce consumed current in the grid; •to reduce active power consumption; • to increase power coefficient; • to improve symmetric distribution of load currents between phases; •to reduce the presence of high harmonics and to improve electromagnetic compatibility. *(NM) - non-adaptive operation mode *(AM) - adaptive operation mode AESS off. Complies with requirements ТР ТС 004/2011 "On safety of low voltage equipment" and ТР ТС 020/2011 "Electromagnetic compatibility of technical devices".

Results AESS is unique equipment capable, in the frames of single unit, to reduce or to remove completely typical negative phenomena in electric grid allowing not only to optimize a production process, but also to pay back for AESS cost in a very short time. AESS is made using innovation modular system allowing both to increase power actually to infinity and to configure AESS for its placement practically in any surroundings. AESS has integrated unique protection system from being turned on in peak grid loads intervals. It increase AESS survivability and favorably distinguishes the system from standard products represented on the market. AESS does not require specific and complicated maintenance. On customer's request, in case of signing additional contract, our specialists will carry on quarterly AESS maintenance.
