Prevention of the Root Causes through Education Our impact Founded in 1919 Nearly 70 countries 30,000 committed members Founded in 1919, approximately 30,000 comited members in nearly 70 countries actively advocate for changes to laws, to cultural practices, and to prevailing attitudes that have resulted in gender inequality or have compromised women’s safety and security.
