Balanced Forces Versus Unbalanced Forces Explore and explain About Force

Newton’s Third Law For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. What does this mean?

Balanced or Unbalanced? Unit 7 Lesson 1 What Are Forces? Balanced or Unbalanced? Balanced forces are forces on an object that are equal in size and direction. The motion of the object will not change (if its stopped it won’t move, if its moving it will keep moving) Unbalanced forces are forces that cause a change in motion. A force must overcome the force of friction before an object will move. Copyright © Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing Company 4
