PLM Discover / Digital Manufacturing Digital Manufacturing : UMD – Manufacturing Master Highlights Build and validate Mechanical Devices for use in planning and simulation Robotics Arc Welding programming and validation Ergonomics Evaluation provides human task feasibility studies Ergonomics Task Definition provides human activity programming and simulation Build and validate NC Machines and controllers for tool path programming and validation through simulation Extended Milling Machining delivers multi-axis milling machining support Validate through simulation NC tool path and ISO programs with material removal

DELMIA Mechanical Device Builder (MDB) DELMIA Mechanical Device Builder (MDB) delivers the capabilities necessary to create virtual mechanical devices for use in downstream planning and simulation activities. Device modelers are able to define devices, from simple clamps to complex robots and lift-assist devices using DELMIA Mechanical Device Builder’s intuitive user interface. Once a device model is validated, it can be saved to a resource library for use by planners, programmers, and simulation engineers as they define, optimize, and validate their manufacturing plans. Mechanical Device Definition DASSAULT SYSTEMES - Page

DELMIA Robotics Arc Welding (ARW) DELMIA Robotics Arc Welding (ARW) automatically generates a robot weld and sensor paths based on the geometric design of the seam to be welded. Multiple variables are combined when defining the collision free robotic welding path including the material to be welded, weld type, robot setup, and workcell layout. Users of DELMIA Robotics Arc Welding solution are able to define, validate, and optimize their robotic arc welding programs and setups prior to delivery to the shop floor; simultaneously improving quality, reducing costs and maximizing resource utilization by keeping production equipment engaged in value-added activities. Computer Aided Generation of Robotic Arc Welding Programs DASSAULT SYSTEMES - Page

DELMIA Ergonomics Evaluation (EGE) DELMIA Ergonomic Analysis (EGA) builds on DELMIA Ergonomics Evaluation (EGE) by allowing users to analyze human comfort, safety, and performance factors as they manipulate the Lifelike Human manikin in the V6 3D environment. These analysis capabilities allow engineers to examine, score, and iterate whole body and localized postures to determine a person’s comfort and ability to perform defined tasks in the context of the a product or workplace design. Delivers Standard Ergonomic Analysis DASSAULT SYSTEMES - Page

DELMIA Ergonomics Task Definition (ETD) DELMIA Ergonomic Task Definition (ETD) builds on DELMIA Ergonomics Evaluation (EGE) by allowing users to create, simulate and validate tasks performed by a Lifelike Human Manikin in the V6 environment. With an intuitive user interface, V6 users are able to easily create and simulate how a person interacts with a product or performs tasks in their workplace. Defining these human tasks is simplified through the use of a predefined tasks catalog. Common actions such a picking up and placing objects, sitting, kneeling, standing and walking can be selected from a catalog and applied to the Manikin. DELMIA Ergonomics Evaluation makes defining and simulating human tasks accessible to even the most casual V6 users. Program and Simulate Human Tasks DASSAULT SYSTEMES - Page

DELMIA Extended Milling Machining (EMM) DELMIA Extended Milling Machining (EMM) extends the capability of DELMIA Milling Machining (MIM) and allows the NC programmers to create tool path programs for multi-axis milling machines. The NC tool path programmer is immersed in a V6 3D environment where they can interact with complete machining station as they create, optimize, and validate the multi-axis, milling programs. Define Tool Path Programs for Multi-Axis Milling Machines DASSAULT SYSTEMES - Page

DELMIA NC Machine Builder (NMB) DELMIA NC Machine Builder (NMB) delivers the capabilities necessary to create virtual NC machine tools and their controllers for use in tool path programming, optimization, and validation in a V6 3D environment. Device modelers are able to define axis motion parameters, including travel limits, acceleration and speeds. Advanced machine tool types, such as multi-axis mills and multi-spindle mill-turns, are supported as are machine tool accessories. Once the machine tool model is complete, it can be saved to a resource library for use by NC tool path programmers as they define, optimize, and validate their NC programs. NC Machine Tool Device Definition DASSAULT SYSTEMES - Page

DELMIA NC Machine Simulation (NMS) DELMIA NC Machine Simulation provides the NC programmer with the ability to perform virtual tool path program validation. Programmers are able to simulate machine tool motion, along with material removal, using either the pre-post processed tool path or post processed ISO code. DELMIA NC Machine Simulation aids the NC programmer in delivering high quality, optimized, tool path programs by finding potentially damaging collisions or excessive non-value-added machine tool motion.
