What is CREATIVE PROCESS AUDITING? 18/07/13 Introduction elBullifoundation and ESADE Business School have joined forces to implement creative process auditing in the business world. What is CREATIVE PROCESS AUDITING? Creative process auditing is a tool used by Ferran Adrià and his team to assess the processes of innovation used at his world-famous restaurant, elBulli. The aim of this pioneering collaboration between elBullifoundation and ESADE Business School is to apply the creative process auditing method developed at elBulli to creative and innovative processes in organisations and companies.   2

Creativity for Business Innovation Challenge (C4BI) 18/07/13 The competition Creativity for Business Innovation Challenge (C4BI) This competition challenges ESADE Business School students to audit the creative process used in a particular area of a company, with the aim of obtaining the company’s creative profile and proposing innovative initiatives for the future. Who can participate? Three-person teams of students from the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), the Masters of Science (MSc), the Full-Time Master in Business Administration (MBA), the Double Degree (BBA + Law) and Fusion Point (Rambla of Innovation) may take part in this challenge. “Mixed” teams comprising students from different programmes are also welcome to participate. 3

Final International Stage 18/07/13 Final International Stage 16TH NOVEMBER | The finalists will visit elBulliLab and Ferran Adrià will teach a master class. The document “Creative Process Auditing for Innovation in Business” will be presented. 16TH NOVEMBER | The finalists will visit HP campus, where various executives will present their strategy and innovation programmes. Afterwards, the teams will have the chance to schedule interviews in order to learn more about particular parts of the questionnaire. 17TH NOVEMBER | The finalists will have 12 hours to complete a creative process audit of HP and prepare a presentation (max. 10 minutes) on their findings using the audiovisual media of their choice. 18TH NOVEMBER | The teams will present their conclusions to an international panel of judges that includes Ferran Adrià (elBullifoundation), the CEO of HP campus Sant Cugat, and Josep Franch, Dean ESADE Business School. 16

18/07/13 Winner The winning team shall be the one that presents (in an innovative manner and with high-quality reasoning) the best creative process audit and the most appropriate improvement proposals. The judges’ decision will be announced on the day of the final presentations and will be final. 17
