Who can see/edit your documents and folders. Your files and folders. Who can see/edit your documents and folders. OneDrive houses documents, presentations,pictures, videos, and more in the cloud.

How do I upload files?

Sharing a folder with students. Create a folder to share with students. Sharing a folder with students.

After entering the folder, create a file (example shows a MS Word document). Add files to the folder. Share files, or share the entire folder with students via link. Open the document and add text. (Example shows bell work, “Question of the Day.”) Click on share to get a live link. Write the link on the board. *This prevents you from having to share documents individually with each student.

Using Bitly with an Account Side panel will pop up after pasting the link when logged into Bitly. Give the link a title and customize it. Ex: bit.ly/DailyQuestion Bitly will keep track of your links and stats for future reference.

Have them create a folder for themselves for turning in work. Manually sharing a folder (not using a live link). Organizing turn in folders for student access. Have students name their folder for easy alphabetized access. Ex: JonesTom.

Creating Subfolders for Classes Sharing can be done with a link or by sharing the parent folder and having students create their turn in folder inside their class folder. A list of classes will appear if you decide to create individual folders for each class. A list of students with whom you have shared will show up on the right hand side.

Grading online assignments Insert comment. Type comments and add grade.

Chat feature A chat feature shows up if the document is shared and others are inside the live document at the same time. A panel with instant messages appears to aid in collaboration.

How can OneDrive be used with students? Go paperless and share handouts Share presentations (teachers to students, students to teachers) Share study guides Upload videos for at home access Student collaboration on projects Share lessons with students on homebound or out of the classroom Share ebooks from curriculum or share short stories for lit circles/guided reading Share poetry for lit circles Share your ideas!

What else can I do with OneDrive? Access documents online See a list of documents you've recently opened See documents people have shared with you Collaborate on documents, plans, data, etc. Access files from a mobile device by downloading the app from your webstore (Android, iOS, Windows Phone, tablets, etc.) Sinc computer files to online for backing up.
