Why do Kids Bully? Most kids bully because something is happening in their houses, and they decide to let their anger out by bullying. Other kids just want to do it out of their own entertainment. They think it is “fun” to bully, so they just do it. Some kids just do it because they want attention. They think that no one pays attention to them, so they bully other kids to get that attention they want.

What is Bullying? When a smaller or bigger person who hurts someone physically, verbally, indirectly, socially, with intimidation, and cyberly. Bullying can lead to severe damage. It can lead to suicide and depression. 97.7% of suicide is committed over bullying. Depression can lead to death. It can “play-around” with someone’s brain.

Types of Bullying! There are six types of bullying. They are: Physical Bullying- Punching, kicking, etc. Verbal Bullying- name calling, criticizing, etc. Indirect Bullying- spreading rumors Social Alienation- leaving someone out Intimidation- (peer pressure) Cyber bullying- bullying over the internet, etc. Next time I see you, I’ll grind your face against the pavement.

Social- The “cool” girls ask the rest of the class to play softball, but they didn’t ask you. Intimidation- A boy from school tells you to sell drugs with him, or “else” Cyber- These group of kids say that you are ugly on your pics put in instagram, facebook, etc.

Why did I pick Bullying? I picked bullying because it is the conflict that mostly happens. I thought it will be an interesting topic to research on. In school, I was being bullied. People kept on teasing me, and calling me names. It was about to turn severe, so I needed to speak up and tell my teacher. I told her that the kids that were bullying me, were pressuring me to throw food at the teachers. If I didn’t they would beat me up. The kids all got suspended.
