JOINT STOCK COMPANY «BORISOV PLANT OF AGGREGATES» In 1878 the first sawmill was built on the present-day territory of the plant at the expense of treasury and a shipyard was founded. By the beginning of 1900 759 people worked at the mill. It was the only enterprise in the town at that time. In 1957 the shipyard was liquidated because of the small production volume and a workshop of Minsk Tractor Plant was established on its base. This was the foundation for the development of a new branch in the town, that was machine building. In 1961 the branch of MTP was transformed into an independent plant of hydraulic equipment and from the 1st of January 1970 it was renamed into Borisov Plant of Aggregates. 1400 people work here at the present time. There are more than 1000 units of equipment in the workshops. Nowadays the plant is a modern rapidly developing enterprise related to the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus.

INTRODUCTION OF PROGRESSIVE TECHNOLOGIES IN FOUNDRY INDUSTRY The place of manufacturing castings of compressor’s wheels We use progressive technology which doesn’t have analogs in our country. This technology allows to manufacture thin-side profilecomposite aluminium castings with high accuracy at the expense of using elastic model which mould single-used gypsum form for manufacturing casting of compressor’s wheels using the method of vacuum suction . The place of manufacturing castings of turbine wheels We use a modern technology of manufacturing castings of turbine wheels consisting of high-temperature alloy with using unique equipment - vacuum installation of induction type followed by crystallization in the inductors.
