Taking the Temperature of your Organization: Is it healthy? Anja Wynne, PhD Assistant Director, HR Compliance 6/20/2016

Two Requirements for Success Smart Healthy Strategy Marketing Finance Technology Minimal Politics Minimal Confusion High Morale High Productivity Low Turnover Most organizations exploit only a fraction of the knowledge, experience, and intellectual capital that is available to them. But the healthy ones tap onto almost all of it. Pg. 11 Lencioni, P. (2012) The Advantage.

Secret to Success…..

Build a Cohesive “Leadership” Team 1) Team must be behaviorally cohesive in five ways: building trust, mastering conflict, achieving commitment, embracing accountability, focusing on results 2) Five Dysfunctions of a Team….you don’t have to agree on everything, just have your team’s back.

Create Clarity Why do we exist? How do we behave? What do we do? How will we succeed? What is most important, right now? Who must do what?

Over Communicate Clarity https://Just Do It

By Balancing Human Systems Reinforce Clarity By Balancing Human Systems

The single greatest advantage any company can achieve is organizational health. Yet it is ignored by most leaders even though it is simple, free, and available to anyone who wants it. Lencioni, P. (2012) The Advantage, pg 1.
