The Five-Frame Story

The story frames: Frame 1: establish characters and location The story frames: Frame 1: establish characters and location. Frame 2: Create a situation with possibilities of what may happen. Frame 3: Continue sequence. Characters are in a situation. (You can use a single character.) Frame 4: Build action. Continue sequence. Frame 5: Logical end with a bit of surprise.

--Use six frames only. The first frame is the name of the story --Use six frames only. The first frame is the name of the story. --Frames 2-5 are without any words and have one photo per frame. --Prepare in a Power Point format and time each frame to hold for seven seconds. --Take the best images you can. While this is not a course on mastering photo techniques, the photos are the story and contain all the information. Make them clear. Think about your angles. Aim for good composition. --Have fun with this. Take care that your sequence does not cause confusion. The story should have a line of logic and clear sequence. --Deadline: Start of class on Friday, 16. Be prepared to present your work and to view the work of the other storytellers.
