Lost Generation of Writers A group or American artist views and thoughts greatly effected by World War I Wrote more realistic writeing, showed cruelty and not always happy ending Pushed the corruption to the surface Dissected themselves from American culture This group of people changed the veiw of life

Ernest Hemingway Hemingway was born in 1899 and die 1961. Published many novels, several journalistic narratives and memoirs. Joined world war one and served as a red cross ambulance driver. The book “farewell to arms” inspired by a nurse he fell in love with Agnes Korowsky.

Hemingway cont. He began a job as a reporter for Toronto Star 1921 moved to Paris with his first wife Literary circle with Gertrude stein and F Scott Fitzgerald
