John Steinbeck

John Steinbeck Steinbeck win the Noble Prize for Literature. Also his most famous novel was Grapes of Wrath.

John Steinbeck Steinbeck was born in 1902 and died in 1968. He went to Stanford University but then never finished and dropped out. He was also turned down many time trying to publish a story.

Famous Book The Grapes of Wrath was the most famous book of the century and most powerful book written during the great depression. People really like Steinbeck because he always told what he was thinking. "Man, unlike any other thing organic or inorganic in the universe, grows beyond his work, walks up in the stairs of his concepts, emerges ahead of his accomplishments." (from The Grapes of Wrath)
