Presentation transcript:

Tulsa Gas Technologies, Inc. TULSA, OKLAHOMA USA

How do we pay for it? Pure economics, CNG in OK runs from $.79 to $1.59 per gallon Current State tax credits Current Federal excise tax credits Current Federal Income tax credits Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Program (CMAQ) Private LDC rebates Diesel Emissions Reduction Program DERA

How Did Oklahoma do it Friendly Government policy Governor Fallen request for CNG every 100 miles Large State fleet. Large concentration of oil and gas companies that participated in CNG. $100 dollar spike in oil Consistent cheap natural gas prices OEM vehicles from the dealer Jump start from the LDC (ONG)

Where do we go from here? LDCs must continue to promote CNG LDC should urge there suppliers and vendor to participate in CNG. Each vehicle is more load than a single family home, Look what LDCs spends to market gas water heaters.

Where can I do to promote CNG Drive your vehicle, Talk to people. Look at your personal vehicle as a candidate for CNG, Not all vehicles are good candidates. Talk to your congressman, Federal and State. Promote the environmental benefits of CNG Promote the domestic energy benefit of CNG

How can our government support CNG Continue to provide a fair marketplace for CNG Support domestic Energy policy Maintain their alternative fueled vehicle fleet Remove the Renewable Fuels Act and replace it with a Domestic Energy Act.

How did we (TGT) do it Provide fair pricing for good equipment Maintain our stations above our customers expectations. Provide education for our employee to tell our story Understand the local market before you try to take on the world with CNG stations

How has technology changed CNG Remote Monitoring of compression equipment Improved compressor life Fuel injection of Engines Better oil recovery systems on compressors Better pricing per CFM of compression

Is there a future in CNG? Or should the question be: Is there a future with out CNG.
