Travel Friday Children in school :7.45 a.m. Departure : 8 a.m. prompt Arrive at Skern 1.30 p.m. (approximately) Monday Depart Skern: 1.00 p.m. Arrive at school 5.00 p.m. (approximately)

(Children are NOT allowed to take mobile telephones) Communication ‘Teachers 2 Parents’ will be used to communicate safe arrival/difference to arrival time on Monday (check mobile numbers are correct) Headteacher in regular communication with staff during visit The aim is to keep twitter updated as and when possible via school Contact to be made with Skern Lodge by parents in emergencies only (Children are NOT allowed to take mobile telephones)

A typical day at Skern : 0730 - Rise & Shine! 0800 - Breakfast 0900 – 1030 - Outdoor Pursuit Session 1 1030 – 1050 - Break Time 1050 – 1220 - Outdoor Pursuit Session 2 1220 – 1340 - Lunch Time 1340 – 1510 - Outdoor Pursuit Session 3 1510 – 1530 - Break Time 1530 – 1700 - Outdoor Pursuit Session 4 1715 – 1900 - Evening Meal/Free time 1900 – 2030 - Outdoor Pursuit Session 5 2130 - Bedtime

Kit list Please see the handout. Some of it will get wet, possibly muddy! Label it! Children to take ONE case + a small piece of hand luggage. No spray deodorants.

First Aid Mrs Butlin. First aiders on site at Skern, all instructors have first aid and life saving qualifications. All parents have been given a ‘Administration of Medication form’. All medication MUST be prescribed – except travel sickness tablets. Party leaders keep any medication/forms – administer it .

Pocket Money / Additional Extras Shop on site. £10 maximum – Named zip up wallet or purse (party leaders to keep) – coins preferable as shop doesn’t keep a large float. No sweets / chocolates. (TUCK SHOP) Disposable camera. No valuables. No electrical items.

What next? Complete the forms if not done so already. Return Warwickshire County Council medical details and consent form (FORM OSA2) by Friday 10th June 2015. Medical consent form to be bought in on the morning with the medication – including travel sickness tablets.
