60 YEARS OF INNOVATION In 2017, University of Waterloo celebrates six decades of innovation — a journey shaped by: CO-OPERATIVE EDUCATION, A DESIRE TO SERVE SOCIETY DEEP CONNECTIONS TO THE WORLD WORLD-CLASS SCHOLARSHIP Whether you are a student, an alumnus, faculty member or staff, donor, supporter or friend, you are an important part of the University of Waterloo story.

WE’RE JUST GETTING STARTED SINCE 1957 Waterloo has emerged as an international leader in frontier disciplines including quantum computing, water security and sustainability, population health, connected vehicle technology and information and computing technology. Breakthrough research in these areas will change how we live, communicate, work, travel and connect over the next 60 years.

A MILESTONE YEAR 2017 is a year to celebrate across the University of Waterloo community and for Canada.
