Measuring Glass For Flex Series -1/8” For the FLEX SERIES: Measure from stud bead to stud bead then subtract 1/8” as shown above.

Flex Series Track to Stud Measuring Track to Stud Setting the Glass GLASS When measuring Track to Stud, place your tape measure inside the bottom track and measure up to the stud bead and subtract 1/8” as shown in the picture. When setting the glass: first set the glass down into the bottom track (as shown) and rest the glass against the stud bead. The finish trim will snap into the stud and hold the glass firmly in place. -1/8”

Clerestory GLASS When measuring a clerestory, place your tape against the stud bead and measure up to the top track like shown in picture and add a 1/2". +1/2 Example of how the glass sets

Flex Series Full Height Glass Place your tape measure into the top of the top track against the track bead and measure down to the top of the bottom track and subtract an 1/8" or 1/4" depending on the levelness of the floor. Note: if the floor is really out of level you can order a trapezoid pane of glass if needed. GLASS -1/8" or -1/4" When measuring for Flex Series full height glass you will need to measure both sides of your opening and adjust your measurement appropriately. 1/2 Shim

Vertical Glass Measurements View Series Vertical Glass Measurements Screw Screw When measuring the vertical measurements of the View Series, place your tape measure on the head of the screw in the top track and measure to the very top of the bottom track and subtract 1/4”. View Series Horizontal Glass Measurements If your project has between 2 and 6 panes of glass in a partition you will need to measure the VO (visual opening) and add a 1/2” to your overall measurement, then divide by the number of panes of glass you have. For example: If I had 4 panes of glass and my VO was 96 + 1/2” = 96 1/2 then divide by 4 = 24 1/8 for four panes of glass. When measuring for a single side light, you will measure the visual opening and add 3/4” Glass Note: If you have more than 6 panes of glass consult with the NxtWall team on how to measure the Width of your opening.
