Bell Ringer Answer the following question upon entering the classroom: What are two facts about China that you have learned that you did not know before? Did it help you better understand China as a whole?

Section 3: China’s Neighbors

Today’s Objectives Learn about China’s neighbors Taiwan and Mongolia. Sum up the unit on China by participating in a roundtable discussion. Write letters to parents discussing what they learned about China. Homework: Re-teaching Activity 6 from China Packet and completion of entire China Packet. TEST THURSDAY!!

Round Table Discussion Rules All classroom rules apply! Teacher will pass around a ball to anyone wishing to answer a question or have something to say on the topic being discussed. Only the person who has the ball is permitted to talk. Everyone else should show respect by listening. No teasing or mean spirited comments while a fellow student is speaking! No Yelling! NO outside comments while someone is speaking!(raise your hand and wait for the ball to be given to you before talking).
