2017 Bayou Classic College Road Trip The 44th Bayou Classic Thanks to the efforts of Marc Newman, VP for Advancement, Grambling State University and Quinton Thomas, General Manager of Sports Entertainment, NOCCI, we are taking 100 high school students (Juniors & Seniors) this year to the 44th Annual Bayou Classic. This is the LARGEST College HBCU recruitment fair of the fall season. See you in NOLA! ***(This trip can not be recreated. Major portions of the proceeds of this trip goes to Grambling State University). The Bayou Classic is more than a football game. The annual event is one of the Nations greatest college sports rivalries, bringing the fans and alumni of Grambling State University and Southern University to New Orleans each November. A week-long of events featuring the Parade, Career & College Expo, Greek Show & Battle of the Bands and Fan Festival culminates with Saturday's Bayou Classic football match-up.
