Anorexia Symptoms extreme weight loss thin appearance abnormal blood count hair that thins, breaks or falls out absence of menstruation (amenorrhea) dry skin irregular heart rhythms low blood pressure

Diagnosis Our diagnosis is Anorexia. Her symptoms correlate to the symptoms of anorexia which would be hair loss, loss in weight, and ketones present in urine. The main connection is the ketones because ketones appear in the urine as the body converts fats to energy over and over.

Further Testing CBC (electrolyte and Protein examination) Physical Examination Psychological examination

Treatment Increase social activity Stay away from trigger objects Psychological treatment

Connection to the body Anorexia relates the cardiovascular and circulatory systems because it decreases blood count and causes irregular heart rhythm. Also, it relates to the integumentary system because it causes dry skin and problems with hair.
