Corals can’t stand temperatures below an average of 18 degrees Celsius Limits the habitat to waters between 23 degrees north and 23 degrees south. In Florida they end around Miami. Some coral reefs are found in the Carolinas. More diverse on east coasts of continents. Found mostly in Caribbean, Florida, and Brazil.
