Essence of Business plan The Business plan is an instrument for planning, distribution and control of the resources to achieve purposes of the starting business. The business plan is a systematic method of meeting the future problems and helps us to overcome them.

Common scheme of business plan: 1. First page – name and address of the firm , phone numbers and emails. 2. Summary - function of the business plan - aims and necessary resources to achieve them - characterization of products and market potential - Marketing strategy - money and their sources - expected financial results 3. Substance 4. Choice and valuation of the business idea 5. Mission, aims and envelopment

Manufacturing and managing - insurance of business (choice of technology and equipment ; process of manufacturing) - insurance of organisation management

Information about the hotel The hotel is located in the center of the lovely sub-Balkan town- Karlovo. There you will be delighted with the places,which are an important part of Bulgarian history. Karlovo is one of the oldest Bulgarian towns.With its rich cultural life, preserved traditions, spirit of the Bulgarian national revival, beautiful nature and history places Karlovo attracts a lot of people and it has become a preferred destination for any type of tourism.

Status of the base – 3-stars hotel with excellent service Status of the base – 3-stars hotel with excellent service. There are 30 guest places, separated in 10 rooms and 2 apartments. On the ground floor there is a café-restaurant with 30 places.

Goals of the business plan Long-term goals: -Development and introduction of new products and services - Motivation and control over the staff - Increasing the number of the foreign tourists - Prolongation of the tourist season - Active advertising activity Short-term goals: -Increasing the size of the profit - Improvement of the furniture of the hotel - Improvement of the quality of service

Products in the hotel Accomodation – there are two offers. The first one includes renting a house for a day, and the second one is renting a house for a week. Food - according to the client’s wishes there are traditional Bulgarian dishes Additional services – a tour in the surrounding area by bicycles

Marketing The main goal of the hotel’s management team is to improve the sales of the tourist’s product. This requires high quality service, attractive offers and active advertising companies. Their goal is to popularize the brand.

Income The profits depend on active and inactive season, and they are divided in two main groups – profits from the hotel and profits from the restaurant, café etc.

Expense They are divided in two main groups: Expenses connected with the hotel Common expenses connected with energy, water, hygiene, communications, transport etc.

Conclusion The mission of the hotel “Comfort and hospitality” is to preserve Bulgarian traditions and landscape and to help Bulgarians with making contact with nature and the local culture, hospitality and the authenticity of the Bulgarian towns and villages.
