Title: SKYN Mockup Course Description: This course will train each participant to perform the direct mockup technique where the dentist or the technician can perform directly intraoral or on the models a full complete mockup. All SKYN’s will be manufactured by participants learning the several ways to do it. A deep lecture on Facial and Smile Aesthetic Analysis helping participants to perform the best SKYN setups, simple variations that will impact the final smile design will be also shown giving the necessary tools to solve both aesthetics and function of the mockup. Duration: 3 days -1st & 2nd Day - theory, Live patient demonstration, 3rd day - interactive hands-on sessions on SKYN Direct Mockup. Title: SKYN Over The Shoulder Course 4 Title: SKYN Over The Shoulder Description: During 4 (four) days a complete restorative treatment will be done building a new smile integrated with the face delivering the best aesthetic and function to a live patient. Watch over-the-shoulder how Master Paulo Kano builds a new smile for a real patient. From photos & videos with Livio Yoshinaga, through the final cementation you will witness each step of the process being able to bring this knowledge back and start thinking SKYN in your practice. Duration: 7 days - 1st & 2nd Day -Theory, Lectures, 3rd day - Hands-on , 4th- 7th day - live patient demonstration of an A to Z step-by-step full clinical treatment and lab work. Program: First day we will document and treatment plan the case, apply the direct SKYN mockup technique without any type of wax-up, build the presentation to “sell” the case to the patient. Second day we will perform any gingival surgery using an unique Piezo technique to remodel the bone and gum to shape the final aesthetics of the patient. Still on the second day we will prep the case and start the CAD/CAM design and milling. Third day will be the lab day, all steps will be shown of the lab’s behind the scenes demonstrating everything that happens after milling - adaptation, polishing and staining for the best aesthetic results. No build-up is necessary on this technique allowing a much wider range of technicians to deliver SKYN restorations. Finally on the fourth day, cementation and final considerations to close this treatment demonstrating how SKYN can be the perfect balance of Art & Science, Aesthetic and Function.
