REQUIREMENTS? Internal Requirements External Requirements

Internal requirements VISION - An aspirational description of what an organization would like to achieve or accomplish in the mid-term or long-term future. It is intended to serves as a clear guide for choosing current and future courses of action. MISSION -A written declaration of an organization's core purpose and focus that normally remains unchanged over time. Properly crafted mission statements (1) serve as filters to separate what is important from what is not, (2) clearly state which markets will be served and how, and (3) communicate a sense of intended direction to the entire organization.

Internal requirements CORE VALUES - A principle that guides an organization's internal conduct as well as its relationship with the external world. “A business with good core values will get the respect of its customer base and be able to flourish long term.” –BD CORE COMPETENCIES - A unique ability that a company acquires from its founders or develops and that cannot be easily imitated. Core competencies are what give a company one or more competitive advantages, in creating and delivering value to its customers in its chosen field. Also called core capabilities or distinctive competencies.  “The core competencies of our institution could not be matched by our competitors because we were constantly innovating and learning and improving.” - BD

LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION AGENCIES CERTIFYING AGENCIES STANDARDS - Universally or widely accepted, agreed upon, or established means of determining what something should be. EXTERNAL CONSTITUENTS - A company that is part of a group of consolidated, merged, or affiliated companies.
