Gaps in the Core Content of the Clinical Informatics Fellowship Curriculum. Feedback from Fellows Session S11 - Panel Welcome, Matthias Kochmann, 1st year clinical informatics fellow, Regenstrief Institute, Presenter this session, Exciting panel discussion about the clinical informatics fellowship Today on our panel we have, 3 graduated CI fellows Dr. Tariq Dastagar, Dr Veena Goel, Dr Lance Downing and 1 fellow that will graduate in 3 weeks, Dr. Mark Zhag. These are nationwide the first clinical informatics fellows graduating from clinical informatics fellowships. During this panel we will reflect how their fellowship program structured their didactic aournd the AMIA core content, what they learned in the fellowship and if what they learned prepared them well for their current work after fellowship The structure of this panelist discussion is that I will give you a brief overview over the topic, then the panelist will give a introduction about themselves. Afterwards I will ask the panelist a set of questions and then we have 20 minutes of questions from the audience.

In 2009 AMIA published the AMIA White Paper the Core Content for CI Fellowship It is the educational spine from which the individual fellowships develop their fellow didactics and practical experiences and the board exam is structured I as we speak I am handing you out a copy of this paper for your reference during the discussion To join the poll please log on to pollev.com/matthiaskoch581 OR Text MATTHIASKOCH581 to 37607
