The First Atomic Bomb Used in War

Where did it land? This atomic bomb landed in Hiroshima Japan

August 16, 1945 8:16 a.m.

The explosion was equal to approximately 15 kilotons of TNT.

The bomb killed about 70,000 to 100,000 people and destroyed about 13 kilometers of land.

The bomb was codenamed "Little Boy"

Hiroshima, Japan has since then been rebuilt to a beautiful place.

To get to Hiroshima, you'll have to take an airplane to Japan, then drive to Hiroshima.

There is a peace memorial where the bomb landed that visitors can see
