The Wonderful World Of The Rainforest By Alisha and Anna

The Bora tribe is based in Iquitos which is in the heart of the Perusian rainforest. In the Baka tribe the men hunt with crossbows, the Baka tribe is in Africa. TRIBES The Yanomami tribe is one of the largest tribes. They first made contact with outsiders in the 1940s. To hunt they use poisonous darts and shoot them at animals. Many tribes live by the a water source so they can collect water and travel through the rainforest quickly by canoe.

An Eyelash pit viper is 18-30 inches long An Eyelash pit viper is 18-30 inches long. They live in C America and NS America. The Eyelash pit viper is named after German ornithologist Hermann Schlegel. Anaconda is the best known constrictor snake in the Amazon. The can grow up to 30 feet long and are capable of killing and eating prey the size of an adult human.

The top layer is the Emergent layer. The second layer is the Canopy layer. The canopy layer has: Insects, birds, reptiles and Mammals. The third layer is the understory layer. The fourth and final layer is the Forest Floor.
