Growth Mindset  This year my plan is to focus on instilling a growth mindset in our students.

What is fixed mind set? A person with a fixed mindset may do these things: Avoid challenges Give up easily Ignore feedback Is threatened by other people’s success Try hard to appear as smart or capable as possible

What Does Growth Mindset Look Like? A person with a growth mindset may do these things: Embrace challenges Give their best effort Learn from feedback Become inspired by other people’s successes Believe their intelligence can change if they work hard

One Last Note In conclusion, teaching children is very rewarding and a fulfilling accomplishment. It is my hope that I have your full support in this endeavor, especially in the area of self- accountability and responsibility for actions and decisions made. I truly believe all children will make better decisions in life if they are held accountable for their actions. I am looking forward to a fantastic school year! Thank you for all your support. Working together as a team will ensure your “ super child” receives a victorious education.
