At One With Nature Science: Plants Plant our own seeds. Identify key parts of a plant Take measurements of temperatures, capacity of water, length/height of leaves/stems/plants as they grow etc. I can observe and describe how seeds and bulbs grow into mature plants. I can find out about and describe what plants need to stay healthy. Use the Internet, books, leaflets etc. Create a guide on ‘How to look after your plant/seed’. Science: Plants

Science: Living things and their habitats At One With Nature I can identify and describe how different habitats are suited to different living things. I can identify and name a variety of plants and animals in their habitats, including micro-habitats. List living things from farm trip. Explore a variety of living and non-living things in our local environment. Habitat hunt, through the key hole game. Food chain interpretation. I can explore and compare the differences between living and non-living things. I can describe how different kinds of animals and plants depend on each other I can describe how animals obtain their food from plants and other animals using a simple food chain. Science: Living things and their habitats
