Unit 5: Media Literacy Lesson2: Five Critical Questions Grade 4 Unit 5: Media Literacy Lesson2: Five Critical Questions

Option 1 Break the five questions into 5 groups A rotation set up where each child addresses each question in a small group

Option 2 Different advertisements for children to choose from (FLEXIBLE GROUPING!!!!) Children address the 5 ?s about the advertisement they selected

Option 3: Three Stations Watch pbskidsgo and complete survey (discuss results in small group)and Checkout Why is media important? (Provide a cool visual with definitions and genres) 5 Questions with the teacher led small group (instead of doing worksheet, students will work together to create a visual to share about their advertisement) Make sure to provide time to debrief with the whole class the products that students created in the small group with the teacher
