Objectives To consider one person’s perspective on leadership. To reflect on qualities that make a good leader. To recognize and understand that “leadership” comes in different forms and different styles. Provide you with activities that you can use in your classes and some additional resources.

A leader should provide encouragement to those around him/her A leader should provide encouragement to those around him/her. In other words, he or she needs to be a cheerleader for them.

3 Beliefs About Leadership Just because you are in a leadership position doesn’t necessarily mean you are a leader. You don’t have to be THE leader to be a leader. A leader has an overall vision, sees the big picture, and is the catalyst to move toward that vision.

A few important qualities for a leader to possess… A good leader provides opportunities for those around him/her to become leaders.

Now you have the opportunity to become a leader! Move It, Move It! Movement or exercise must be simplistic A movement the average person can perform
