There are many expressions in French that use the verb “Faire.”

Il fait beau = It’s beautiful out!

Il fait froid = It is cold!

Faire un match = To play a game

Faire une promenade = To go for a walk

Faire un voyage = To take a trip

Faire Attention = To pay attention

Here are some examples.

They are going for a walk = Ils font une promenade.
