What are Games? Games are a form of play or sport, especially a competitive one played according to rules and decided by skill, luck or strength. Entertainment Amusement Recreation Distraction Pass time BJM & JAS 04/2017

Learning is a process of making meaning. Active learning is based on a theory of learning called constructivism, which emphasizes the fact that learners construct or build their own understanding. BJM & JAS 04/2017

A Thought to Ponder All genuine learning is active, not passive. It involves the use of the mind, not just the memory. (Adler, 1987) BJM & JAS 04/2017

What is Active Learning? Active learning is a process whereby students engage in activities that promote analysis, synthesis, and evaluation of class content. Students participate in the process and are doing something besides passively listening. Anything that involves students in doing things and thinking about the things they are doing.
