Conclusion U.S. Pacific Islander adults and adolescents, experience ISR Conclusion U.S. Pacific Islander adults and adolescents, experience disproportionately POOR health outcomes when compared to the U.S. and California populations There is considerable VARIATION between Samoan and Tongan across multiple measures and health outcomes, hence the importance of disaggregating data Obesity is not predictive of diabetes Scientific research to obtain evidence-based DATA on PI populations can be done Small populations MATTER and the PLACE where they live, learn, work, play and pray also matters
