introduction The lake district has been badly flooded recently December the 5 th 2015 . The lake district is in Cumbria. Lots of people visit the lake district because it has lots of entertainment . It has lots of family things to do and lots of fun things to do.

SCAFELL PIKE Scafell pike is quite near wast water. Did you know that Scafell pike is the highest mountain in England. How tall is Scafell pike 978 metres

WINDERMERE Windermere is the largest natural mere in England. The length is 18.08 km. The area is 14.73 km 2 . 14.8 million people visit Windermere.

Coniston Coniston is near Bowmanstead It is about 5 miles long and half a mile wide. It is 180 feet deep.

Cat bells Cat bells is about 451meters high. It is near Keswik. It is one of the most popular fells in the area of the Lake district.

Bow fell The height of bow fell is 902 m . It is a pyramid shape and it is the sixth highest mountain in the lake district.
