Lesson Objectives By the end of this lesson, the learner will be able to: Identify online self-assessment and training resources for practicing and reinforcing knowledge Use online drug interaction checker tools This outline lists the order and subject matter of this lesson. This lesson will refer to specific aspects unique to acute HCV. In many instances, acute HCV is assessed in the same way as chronic HCV. For a broader review regarding the evaluation of HCV, learners should refer to the content within Lesson 3.1.

Key Points There are several trusted websites provide that helpful clinical tools and the opportunity to practice and reinforce knowledge The main challenge in HIV/HCV co-infection treatment is managing drug interactions, and there are online resources for checking drug interactions AASLD/IDSA supports generalists developing skills and treating HCV. Their website is a user-friendly and practical as a point-of care reference. The crux of treating HCV in HIV infected patients is looking up drug interactions and choosing compatible regimens.
