WOMEN’S MARCH SOUTHERN OREGON! The Women's March will be held on Saturday, January 21st in Ashland from 11:00 am to 1:00pm. Participants will meet in front of the Ashland library and march to the Butler Bandshell in Lithia Park, where the event will cumulate with a series of speeches and live music by the Peace Choir. March in solidarity with the Women's March in D.C. and in cities across the country in support of diversity, inclusion, and human rights. The BODYlogues are looking for submissions that explore issues of body diversity, empowerment, and personal experience. Seeking monologues, poetry, art, etc. about bodies in topics such as race, gender, sexuality, ability, class, age, nationality, ethnicity, indigeneity, religion, mental health, size, violence, healing, transformation, capatilism, patriarchy, queerness, social norms, privilege, & multilingual.
