Relationships with Parents Monthly newsletters with student about what will be occurring in the class Parent/Teacher meetings Always available to parents by email/notes brought in by students/Ect..

Technology Technology will be incorporated into everyday activities if it is available

Cultures & Ethnicities in Classroom Set up a project at the very first week of school to have the students bring in something that represents each and every one of them so the class as a whole can learn about who is being represented in the classroom Each students can bring in an item; do show and tell to present it; or depending on grade level have a parent come in to give the presentation

Tell the students when I learn something new from them Everyone is a Student Allow students to challenge what I say Tell the students when I learn something new from them Ask their opinions on ways to run the class

What Will My Students Learn That it is okay to make mistakes Mistakes are used to grow/learn from when they occur How to be leaders Tools that they need to succeed

What Will My Students Remember About Me My hope many years later is that students will look at me as the teacher who never gave up on them along with being the teacher who always gave them the tools/hope to succeed for the future
