Proposed Revision Process All Course outlines will be submitted to the Curriculum Office The Curriculum Office will sort the changes into two categories Changes that require Curriculum Committee review Changes that DO NOT require Curriculum Committee review
Changes That Require Review Title Course Number Course Description Number of Credits Type of Program Length of Course Grading Method
Changes That Require Review Co- or Pre-requisites Gen Ed Mapping Changing, Adding, or Removing Outcomes
Changes That DO NOT Require Curriculum Committee Review Words or phrases that do not change the original intent. If there is a question regarding intent, the CO will consult with the Curriculum Committee Chair and the Dean of Curriculum, Planning and Research
Checks and Balances For a trial period (3-6 months?) courses reflecting only minor revisions will be posted to the CC web site as FYI items, showing the changes made. Any CC member may ask for a course on the FYI list be pulled for review by the committee. Re-evaluate after trial period
