What about the III C? ... We are a very compat team and we like knowing and exploring. Last year we had the opportunity to take part in the “Comenius” project and you don’t imagine the enthusiasm when our teacher said: <<Boys, we go to the Pulicchio!!>> Our team!

…We picked up some plants and… At the Pulicchio… …we classified them with their scientific names…

Botanical classification ... in the classroom after our guided tour to the "PULICCHIO" Botanical classification Our botanists at work

Before starting our guided tour our teachers, involved into the project, gave us different tasks, following our interests and skills, so…

… some of us became… …Journalists…

Others… …Photographers…

Others… …Botanists…

and others painters…

OUR FINAL PRODUCT… Plants and trees in Gravina’s wood with “Annunziata “ strean. (Mixed Technique). The sweet fragrances and beautiful landescape of our wonderful wood inspired us an original postcard. You can see the principal plants of our wood: oaks, mushrooms, background sounds of typical birds of our territory: thrush and “Falco Grillaio”.

Graphic pictorial section Graphic pictorial section. I drew this landscape because when I see it I feel a part of it and I am very happy. “Butcher’s broom” whose name derives from its leaves which prick like thorns. Bushy plant, perennial, it graws up spontaneausly on our territory of “Murgia”. With its red berries it remembres the Christmas mistletoe.

The historic centre in Gravina: the library “Finya” and the four fountains: view. We drem this port of our touwn because it comunicates to us serenity and the beauty of arts. It opens our hearts. Little branch of pine with a pine cone: the pine is a part of the mediterranean vegetation that grows up spontaneausly on our territory.

Walking into the wood I admired so many flowers, with their colours which filled the landscape of vitality. Their smell and their beauty made me realize the greatness of nature, that is why I have dedicated my postcard at flowers. “Cardoncelli” mushrooms typical of our territory. I choose this landscape because look at it remembers me the delicious dishes of our Gravina.

Our Prize… Second Prize

Second Prize

We walked through the forest, the Murgia in autumn hot mornings and we watched the blue sky, green leaves… ... and the colours of the flowers: yellow, red, blue. Nature came out from the calcareous rocks, and we wanted to capture it…

…and we also become artists. We designed, colored… …and we learned, we enjoied this wonderful experience.

The end!  LAVECCHIA Francesco, LOPRIENO Gianluca.
