Organising Kids Activity Zones Presented by Bridget Lee

Where to Start? Look for an area of need What is your current model? Do you provide any free activities for children? After being given the amazing opportunity of being the 2015 Parkes showgirl I want to give back to the show committee and the community. As a school teacher I received some feedback from the community that they would not attend the show due to lack of free activities and increased costs of attending a show. So I identified an area of need. During the 2015 show I visited the current kids area then thought about what I could being to the show with my past early childhood experience and current primary school experience. So I came up with the plan to have a pavilion full of kids activities that were 100%free. I’ll introduce daisy

Who to ask? Sponsorship Resources Equipment I started my plan by approaching the local schools to see it I could borrow equipment if I was to run the Pavilion. As one school took up my proposal I worked with a number of people to collect ideas and write a proposal for the committee. I priced the equipment and resources i would need and approached prospective sponsors. I was able to then offer my idea to the committee as a completely free interactive exhibit full staffed.
