Manual jobs / blue collar work This work is based on using the hands. Manual jobs are usually lower paid. The conditions people work in are not as good as for non-manual work. Manual work can be also called BLUE collar work
NON-manual jobs/ White collar work This is a kind of work done by people who have gained qualification from college. It is usually better paid. White collar workers sell their skills with education. They have to work with their „brain“.
