The St. Louis chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) with nearly 400 members representing 103 organizations is the premier professional association for individuals and organizations responsible for generating philanthropic support for nonprofits. In 2016, over 900 individuals benefitted from the education, training, and networking opportunities provided by the St. Louis AFP Chapter.

AFP Monthly Education Programs Text In 2016, the St. Louis AFP Chapter offered over 20 educational programs. Attendance varied from 15 to 25 for webinars and 50 to 75 for seminars and monthly workshops. The 2017 schedule for monthly seminars, webinars and workshops will include both local and national experts sharing their knowledge and experience on subjects such as Major Gift Fundraising, Emerging Priorities for Funders, Donor Stewardship, Leadership Development and Diversity.

Gateway Conference on Philanthropy August 30, 2017 St. Charles Convention Center Over 200 people attended the Conference in 2016 and we anticipate an even larger crowd in 2017. The National Philanthropy Day Luncheon The National Philanthropy Day Luncheon is a day to celebrate the time, passion, and dedication of our region’s most inspiring fundraisers and philanthropists. A cocktail hour precedes the luncheon and awards ceremony, which is attended by more than 400 nonprofit executives, philanthropists, honorees, and their families. Awards are given for Outstanding Volunteer, Philanthropist, Corporate Philanthropic Program, Fundraising Executive, and Young Professional, as well as the Spirit of Philanthropy Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award.
