Rewrite the following paragraph on your bell work paper to change sentence lengths. Combine sentences using FANBOYS conjunctions to change the sentence fluency. My brother has changed his life. He continues to impress me every day. This is a surprise! I used to hate his guts. He was drinking and using drugs. That wasn’t the worst part. He was doing all of this in front of me. I was just in junior high. My brother didn’t care about my family. He didn’t care about himself. I was relieved when he went to rehab. I was skeptical. It was like a birthday present to me. I was happy to hear he was working hard in rehab. Jeff met a girl. They were married last summer. This year they celebrate 6 years of sobriety.
