Conversations with choice Identify the ‘things’ that cause issues e.g. school bag not ready in the morning, can’t find their shoes, no time for breakfast Discuss 3 possible solutions to each issue Choose 1 solution that your child thinks will work best for them Repeat with a different solution if the first one doesn’t work (sorry, this might happen!)
