Created by Jodi Robison for EDCI 505 It could also be duplicated and modified by students as a lesson of it’s own. I think students would enjoy selecting themes to fit the module and their own interests and then doing the research to support it. I can imagine the modules could be part of a large archive accessible to the class and other classes for testing their art history knowledge. If the modules were more specific in title and theme, a student could, for instance, do the modules that fit what they need to learn or that fit his or her own interests. Art Travel Objective The goal is to charter a journey through time and place to get back to modern day. As you travel you will create a timeline of some of the most influential milestones in the history of art. You will find yourself in many places around the world. Your will cover vast expanses of time but only scratch the surface of the art created in any given moment. Inquiries will arise on your journey. Answer to the best of your ability and see where your knowledge takes you… When given the opportunity, click the compass to continue the journey. Begin now.
