PROBLEM You are presented with 6 solutions in test tubes: Solution 1 - HCl, diluted Solution 2 - NaOH, diluted Solution 3 - tap water Solution 4 - distilled water Solution 5 – NaCl + water Solution 6 – table sugar + water Some physical properties: clear, colourless solutions Problem: A. Classify each solution as ionic or molecular, with 2 points of evidence. B. Classify each solution as either an acid or a base, with 2 points of evidence.
