Specials next week: PE Team Time: I can explain that how contractions are formed by two words with an apostrophe. Language Arts:. I can answer questions about a text and find supporting evidence from the text. I can write a fictional story developing characters, setting, problem, and solution. Math I can partition circles and rectangles into two or four equal parts. I can describe shares using the words halves, fourths, and quarters. I can explain that shares get smaller respectively. I can describe a whole as two of four of the shares. Science I can explain how magnets are used in everyday life (i.e. refrigerator magnets, toys, latches, name tags, etc…) I can investigate to demonstrate how magnets attract and repel other objects. I can investigate to demonstrate the effect of magnets on common objects.
